The Medicare Annual Open Enrollment Period (Oct 15th through December 7th) is fast approaching.
For 2025 there are some major changes in Part D drug coverage affecting both Medicare Advantage and standalone part D plans.
Some of you are currently enrolled in a plan that will not be offering a renewal for 2025 and you will be required to make a new selection for this next year.
All plan changes made will be effective January 1, 2025. If you are happy with your current benefits and your carrier has not given you a plan termination notice you do not need to do anything. Your current plan choice will roll over to 2025. An 'Annual Notice of Change' from your current carrier explaining the new plan benefits and/or changes will arrive in your mail shortly.
In preparation for this enrollment period, I will be sending you two emails: The first one will be from Bill Youngblood [email protected].This email will allow you to update your medication list. The second email will come from message@insfiretech. Logging into this email you will complete the Medicare Scope of Appointment which is required annually for me to assist you.
In closing, I cannot emphasize how important it is this year for all of you to assist in this process by completing the information I am sending you as soon as possible. These plan changes are the most sweeping Medicare has made to date. By working together, I am confident we will choose the best options for you in 2025.
